Core principles

Seven principles that guide our safety work

Our Safety Policy applies to all operations within the company and is adapted to the organisation's combined permits and risk profile. It is built on the following core principles:

1

Safety is our most important currency

We prioritise safety above all else. Every individual and every action within the organisation shall be characterised by an absolute commitment to ensuring a safe and secure working environment for everyone involved.

2

Risk analysis before root cause analysis

Identifying hazards and managing the associated risks is our first step. We prioritise risk analysis before root cause analysis, which enables proactive work to prevent incidents by eliminating or reducing the risk before it becomes a real hazard.

3

Regard laws and requirements as a minimum

We regard compliance with laws and requirements as a basic measure. Our ambition goes beyond the minimum requirements to ensure that our processes and practices are not only lawful but also strive for the highest safety standards.

4

Continuous improvement

We strive for continuous improvement in our safety culture and practices. By continuously evaluating and adjusting our processes and methods, we aim to constantly raise the level of safety and create an even safer working environment for everyone.

5

What we don't know, we can't improve

In order to improve, we must be aware of the areas that can be improved. Noticing and reporting unknown risks and shortcomings is crucial to continue improving our safety culture and practices. Open communication and a “Just Culture” are promoted in order to identify and address any unknown safety issues.

6

A strong awareness of the human factor

Through the active application of and training in Human Factors (HF) principles, we strive to minimise the number of human errors and reduce the consequences of any errors that still occur.

7

We safeguard the customer's best interests

Our focus is on delivering high-quality services while ensuring the highest level of safety for our customers. This can sometimes mean that we need to guide and steer our customers in a direction that serves their long-term interests, even if it contrasts with their initial wishes.
